Contracting
After many years as a successful house builder in Fleetwood, the Company changed direction and entered the contracting side of the industry.
Since 1949 we have worked for several hundred clients on a variety of contracts throughout Lancashire but mainly on the Fylde Coast.
The types of contracts have varied between new build, refurbishment, extensions and bar & shop fitting, constructing a variety of different buildings for clients such as ICI, Blackpool Pleasure Beach, RNLI, BTDB, Local Authorities, Health Authorities and Housing Associations as well as Central Government Departments - CAA, The Home Office and The Department of Work & Pensions.
Contracting has taught us the need to be efficient to ensure contracts are completed on time and within our budgets. With this in mind we are providing a new quality manual and upgrading our computer systems and have embarked on the Investors in People Programme.
